Hungarian Vizsla dogs love water but they do not like to go out in the rain.If I ask my dogs to go out for a "wee wee" they take one look at the rain and return to the house.
However if they go to the local lakes it is a completely different scene.
They all go into the water and swim, however they go into the water for different reasons,Meg and Teddy go into play and to fetch sticks, Zac tries to catch frogs, Leko and Blanchette will hunt anything from insects to fish.They prefer to hunt in the reeds but if they see anything swimming they are soon in full pursuit.

ReplyDeleteJust thought I would write to let you know that all is still well with Lolita. She also loves water and plops in whenever she gets the chance, it is very funny! We have a lake close to us so it is perfect for her and Zorro as it is just too hot at the moment to do anything else!
She is growing so fast and so much (about a 1kg a week) that she is looking very gangly but still totally gorgeous and whenever she comes into town with me I get stopped all the time, everyone wants to know what she is.
I would love to be able to post some photos up but not sure how to do it on this website?
Will write again soon and let you know how we are all getting on. Hope all is well at your end. Best Nicole and Lolita
